Hi, we're using a mixed VM environment - ESXi and Hyper-V server 2016. I was able to set up ESXi correctly, but I have issues with Hyper-v. What's the actual procedure for the Hyper-V server itself? Should I download "PowerChute Network Shutdown v4.3 for Windows x64" for the Hyper-V and perform bare metal install on the Hyper-V server? Or is there something I'm missing?
Cheers

Yes. You should install on the Hyper-V server and configure for Hyper-V. If using SCVMM you should select that during the configuration process.
See the PCNS Hyper-V User's Guide for more information.

Hello,
The problem is - I'm not able to get to the web configuration panel. Connection times out, doesn't matter if I'm using IP address or name.
Any ideas?

Hi,
First thing to check is to verify the PCNS service is running. The command is sc query pcns1. If not running you can start the server with the command sc start pcns1.
Next thing to check is to verify that port 6547 is open. The command to check the ports is netstat -a PCNS web interface uses TCP ports 3052 and 6547

Hi.
Service is running and ports are good.
Ehh.. Hyper-v is always problematic.
Any other ideas? I'm kinda stuck here and I'd love to finish our UPS setup.
Cheers!
