Power Cable and Inrow Bridge Trough

Hi,

Newbie here, we're doing some planning for our new computer room and and we just want to make sure that we order the right parts and quantity. For Power cable trough ( AR8161ABLK), do you still need it if a Data cable partition (AR8162ABLK & AR8163ABLK) is already used\installed on top of a rack cabinet? Same thing with Inrow Bridge trough (ACAC10001), do you still need it if an Inrow bridge partition (ACAC10005) is already being used? Looking at the drawings it looks like the difference between the "trough" and the "partition" is that the partition has some openings\holes to allow for cable to pass through.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Charles,

The AR8161ABLK does the job of 2 of the AR8162ABLK but has added features while the AR8163ABLK allows for pass-through. If you check this picture you will see them in use side by side, http://www.apc.com/products/moreimages.cfm?partnum=AR8163ABLK.If you already have a AR8161ABLK you can add the others to give you an extra partition. The ACAC10001 would be used with the AR8161ABLK since the ACAC10001 is also a trough. The ACAC10005 would be used with either the AR8162ABLK or AR8163ABLK since they do not have the space bellow them like the trough does.
