Hi there,
I have a AP8659EU3 and getting 2 errors showing up on it.
First one comes up
Lost Management Interface-to-device communication
Then the next one says
Lost component communication with Outlet Board 2 I/O
There were no firmware updates applied to it at this time/date that the error occurred.
The PDU in question is not up to date with it's firmware so that is one thing I could try doing to it.
The closest article I can find on APC is this https://www.schneider-electric.co.uk/en/faqs/FA168022/
Which says to update firmware, then power down and reseat the PDU display connector.
Just wondered if there was anything else I can try before having to try schedule in the downtime necessary to follow the steps on that page.

On 3/1/2018 3:39 PM, jesus said:good morning you have installed the cascaded PDUs, and that way I update the PDUs?if this was the case, the update only applies to the principal and, since it does not have the same version, it gives a communication error and must update the PDUs individually.
Hi
These PDU's were installed before I joined and it doesn't look like they have been updated in a while. How can I tell if they are Cascaded?
There are 4 PDU's of the same model in total. 2 of them are on the version that the one with the error is showing, the other 2 are showing an earlier version.
If it was a version mismatch issue though then why is the other updated one showing as fine and not showing an error?

The In/Out ports are not connected, only the main network connection. So therefore they are not cascaded right?
