PCNS Client Removal from NMC is not working
I have PCNS v5 installed on two ESXi servers.
We have 2 APC UPS , called UPS3 and UPS4
Our first setup was redundant - split the ESXi Servers pwr supplies of each host to two of the UPS.
I configured each PCNS for this setup.
After checking the battery power on each UPS, we decided to go to a single UPS (UPS4) or both ESXi Servers
I deleted the PCNS VMs and redeployed them to both host..
When i login to each the PCNS VM console, I did not get the menu for setup.
It went straight to the login prompt...
I logged into PCNS Web Interface (port 6547) for each ESXi and went though the PowerChute Setup to add UPS4.
However, when I login to NMC for UPS3 and go to Configuration / "PowerChute Clients", I see PCNS Client still registered for one of the ESXi Servers..
If I select the IP and "Delete Client"., it disappears from the list.
But, when I logout of the NMC for UPS3 and log back in, the IP is listed again?
How can I remove PCNS from UPS3 permanently since both ESXi servers are on UPS4 ?
thanks
