Outlet covers (like the kind you use when you have kids...)

I'm curious if it is alright to use those little outlet covers, you know those ones you plug into your outlets at home when you have little kids so they don't put their fingers in the outlet, on a Switched Rack PDU power distribution strip?

I'm looking for a way to stop people from plugging into power strips that are deemed full ? Also does anybody else do something like this and if so where did you get them from?
