Offsite Control of cooling units

We have 2 cooling units in my company , which are working in 12hour rotation cycles, one at a time.

Is it possible to turn on, one of the standby cooling units, manually, using some software, from PC?

Currently, physically someone has to come to the Datacenter to switch on the standby unit, if the temperature goes up.

APC Symmetra PX Frame 160kW 400V SYCF160KH
Uniflair CW 27 to 56 kw Cooling Unit UFCW2756

The information was pulled straight from the Operations and Maintenance Manual for the Uniflair. This can be found on our website www.apc.com. I have attached an manual for the US units below.

Thank you

Hello Steffin. The Uniflair units come with a sleep mode that can be set up to turn on the standby unit if the temperature or humidity rises above a setpoint. This can be set up through the front screen or through BMS. If you call your local tech support, they can walk you through setting this up on your units. Thank you

Sleep mode
This screen displays the setback function, which can be either
activated or deactivated by using the control panel or BMS. This
function consists of an automatic start-up of the standby unit if the
unit exceeds the following programmable limits for at least 30
seconds:
• Minimum temperature
• Maximum temperature
• Minimum relative humidity (only with optional humidity sensor)
• Maximum relative humidity (only with optional humidity sensor)
The setback function intervenes to control the room conditions—although with larger tolerances— even
if the whole system is in stand-by. Its intervention is independent and not influenced by signals from
remote systems. The intervention of the setback function is not considered an alarm situation.
Fan Cyclical Start: If set to Y, the fan runs in cycles, defined by the cycle time, to allow air from the room
to be drawn across the sensor.
When in setback mode, in the STATUS screen the symbol is displayed. Normal operating conditions
are reset automatically when the temperature values return to values set for [temp. min. + 2°C] + 3.6°F
and for [max. temp. - 2°C] - 3.6°F. A minimum of 15 minutes must pass before the unit exits the setback
mode. This enables stable conditions to be reached and avoids continuous switching on and off of the
fans.
When normal conditions return, the icon is displayed, alternating with other icons depending
on the previous status.
