The web interface on the management card shows UPS status: unavailable. No UPS Found. I updated the firmware and re-seated the card. No change. What is the next diagnostic step?

After looking at another forum post here and his resolution, the same worked for me. You need to be *very* careful about looking for the right firmware not just for the management module but also the host UPS. I found a firmware update for the 9630 for use with the Symmetra, but a separate one for SMX use. The SMX one fixed the problem in my case.
It's too bad the firmware updater can't query the host UPS...it would really make updates simpler for techs.
