Network Managment Card does a warm restart when enabling/disabling SNMP

Hi Guys

I've got an application that monitors the status of two ups's on our network. I'm using SNMP to do this. It works fine for a while, but after some time, usually a few hours, the network management card does a warm restart and my application is unable to re-establish a connection with the ups SNMP agent after it restarts. I'm not sure what is causing these restarts for the network management card. I've been able to force it to do these restarts sometimes by enabling/disabling the snmp agent on the ups's. It usually occurs about 3 minutes after disabling/enabling the snmp agent according to the logs. Any ideas/thoughts on what could be causing this behavior? The only way I've been able to recover is to restart my application.

can you provide us the event logs off of the NMC?

also, i am not sure if you have seen [this article|http://nam-en.apc.com/cgi-bin/nam_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2572] on warmstarts?

it may not apply but after seeing the log, it could help.
