Probably just something I am missing. I have an ACPA 4000 Air conditioning unit that we installed about 2 months ago. About 3 weeks after installing it I recieved a minor alarm informing me that the filter was clogged. No problem. I ordered some replacement filters and swapped it out. The minor alarm never went away. It is still there. I can't find a way through the web interface or the menu on the unit to reset alarms. No idea what is going on. I also checked the intake tube and the mesh insude that for a clog and found nothing.
Is there a way to reset these alarms?
If it is supposed to be automatic than any idea what is causing this issue?

The unit uses an adjustable air pressure differential switch to sense the drop in air pressure (restriction) across the air filter and the evaporator coil. Sometimes the switch setting is set too low and causes nuisance trips, which is probably the case when the unit is less than 3 months old. To check/adjust it, you need to make sure the power is OFF (disconnect the power cord); on the left side of the unit there is a small access door, remove the 2 door screws and set the door on the floor very carefully without damaging anything attached to the door; now look into the unit (a flashlight will help) and you will see a small square (about 3" square) box with a blue adjustable dial, that's the pressure switch. Next to the dial is a setpoint indicator, check what setting is at the indicator, adjust the dial to NO MORE THAN 0.8. See attached picture. That should take care of your problem.
If you have a unit older than 3 months, you should make sure that the evaporator coil is clean and the filter is new before making adjustments. You can clean the coil using a soft brush and vacuum cleaner if necessary.
Remember the air pressure switch senses air restriction across the air filter and coil and, once properly adjusted, is meant to advise the customer that the filter (and coil) needs maintenance. How often maintenance is required depends on site conditions.

It doesn't seem like anyone has any advise to offer. I know cooling units are certainly not my expertise. I would recommend calling the APC Cooling product support at 800-890-4272 if you have not already.
