NMC3 (AP9641) - 2.5.0.6 No UPS Found - Smart-UPS 3000

I purchased a AP9641 and the NMC3 doesn´t find any UPS.

I tried all firmware versions from APC/SE but it´s not found at all.

UPS is from late 2021 and NMC3 was an NOS from 2021.

I tried these releases

• apc_hw21_su_2-5-0-6
• apc_hw21_sucan_2-5-1-3
• apc_hw21_sy_2-5-0-3

AP9641 and Smart-UPS 3000 (DLT3000RMI2UC)

I called APC, tried chat and called Dell Support.

APC told me i would need a sumx firmware, but they send a su firmware link.

What firmware do i need and where can i get it?

Based on the information you have provided up above it seems you did receive the correct firmware. 

• apc_hw21_su_2-5-0-6 <- is the correct file

You can try to format the NMC by following the FAQ on how to do so. Once complete upload the firmware in this resource link: https://www.apc.com/ca/en/product/AP9641/apc-ups-network-management-card-3-with-environmental-monito...

You'll scroll down all the way to the bottom and select the 7th option. I have appended an image as to which link to select so there's no guessing. Let us know how it turns out - Good Luck! 👍
