Direct Bury Cable Protection
I have a "Ethernet Cable Cat 6 Outdoor, 100 ft. Shielded Cord with RJ45 Connectors" buried between two buildings. The cable spec is "550MHz bandwidth up to 10Gbps" and we are running a 2.5G network across it. What do you recommend for surge protection in case of a lightning strike? Will an APC Protectnet do the job and be compatible with Cat 6, 10 gbs?
