Hi Bob,
That firmware is several years old at this point. I suggest you look into upgrading. I will provide some details below on that.
As far as why this occurred, a warmstart event (0x0002) indicates a soft reboot/restart of the Network Management Card's management interface. The FAQ I provided earlier explains why this can happen.
From what I can tell and previous experience, your AP9631 NMC likely rebooted due to expiration of the network watchdog timer. This would be because the NMC detected very little or no network traffic after it previously saw traffic. It has a watchdog mechanism to try and reboot to correct any problem it may be having. But, the problem is not always with it and can be with too little network traffic based on the user's network configuration. (Sometimes extremely heavy network traffic or switching loops, DHCP storms, or other network events can trigger this as well).
Do you have this device on an isolated network VLAN with very little other traffic going by?
Lastly, specific to upgrading, you can get the latest firmware file here for Smart-UPS products: ftp://restrict:Kop$74!@ftp.apcc.com/restricted/hardware/nmcard/firmware/sumx/650/apc_hw05_aos650_sum...
You can use these instructions to apply it: http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA156047 .. I am not implying a firmware upgrade is required to solve this issue you've asked about because it may very well occur again due to the networking environment the UPS/NMC is located but I suggest the upgrade to take advantage of a multitude of security updates and bug fixes we have done over the last several years since version 5.1.3 released.
Lastly, the new firmware I've linked you to has a different web interface design with different navigation options. See below for quick screenshot.
Here is also an FAQ to review for upgrading between version v5.X.X and the version 6.X.X which I've shared (refer to "Upgrading" section): http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA167693

Can you let us know which AOS and APP versions you have? Without knowing that, we can't be sure but I believe that relates to the network timer/watchdog explained here -> http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA156063 where if there is too much or too little network traffic, the NMC warmstarts (network interface restart) in attempt to clear up any possible issues it could have.
With the AOS and app version as well as a full event.txt, we can confirm further. Instructions on obtaining full logs are here -> http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA156131 (.tar file is preferable but depending on your firmware version, it may not be available. Event.txt and dump.txt along with debug.txt would be most helpful if you can get them individually.)
