Moving AP9640 from dead UPS to new SRT3000
I have an older UPS dlrtd3000rmxli3u that recently died due to suspected water damage. We have purchased a new APC Smart SRT3000RMXLI. It was connected to the Core Switch via its SmartSlot and had 2 ESXI added to it from the documents I have available.
From what I can tell the card is Hot Swappable AP9640 , however what information is retained moving the AP9640 from a dead unit to a new one?
I don't have a serial cable and it's too late for me to source one. Will I be able to see what the NMC IP address is via the LCD screen and set any new IP if I have to?
Thanks

Hello,
If the AP9640 was not reset or formatted, it should still have the old configuration including IP, etc. Once you insert the NMC to the new UPS, you should be able to access it using the same IP.
The UPS display should also show you the IP address of the NMC.

Obviously you have resolved your issue, but for future reference any USB-A to Micro USB cable should work, with one caveat. If the Micro USB end has 3 ridges on it it won't work, there must be only 2.
