Modbus-TCP question of SRT-2200 (AP9630)

I am using the SRT-2200 (AP9630) and I have two questions.

1. To obtain the status of SRT-2200 using Modbus-TCP, connect Modbus-TCP
  If no request is made within 5 seconds, the TCP connection is disconnected. Is this normal?

2. Modbus Register Map pdf states that "0080: RunTimeRemaining" and "0082: StateOfCharge_Pct" data can not be used in SRT-2200.

However, when you actually make a data request, the normal value is returned.
Can I use this Register Map result on the SRT-2200?

Hi Tory,

Question 1: Yes, this is normal for our implementation. Once a new connection is created, the server will only wait for 5 seconds for data to be received from the client. If no data is received, the server will assume the connection stalled and close it. This is because the system can only support a finite amount of TCP connections for all of the different possible protocols, interfaces, etc. 

Question 2: I checked the register map here: http://www.apc.com/salestools/LFLG-A32G3L/LFLG-A32G3L_R1_EN.pdf  .. it appears 'x' means that a value is supported which is what I am seeing for the registers you mentioned and SRT models. Can you clarify what you meant about them saying unsupported? They appear to be supported so you can use them.
