With a Smart UPS RT 3000 some weeks ago the Battery became weak and so I bought a new one.
After implementing the new Battery the UPS works fine again.
I have done some tests with the Bypass-Switch and also I did a runtime calibration. All works fine.
The normal load I take out is round about 400W. The max. value I can take out is 2100 W.
After increasing the load lets say to 1200 W I recognize the following log entry:
UPS: The battery power is too low to support the load; if power fails, the UPS will be shut down immediately.
After decreasing the load the UPS returns to normal Operation.
Whats behind that? I found out both batteries are build at the end of the year 2011 so they should be new!!!!
