Management connection

Hi every one,

I have APC 2200 at my office but I am facing the following challenges;

1. When power cut off and the UPS drained, the UPS cant restart itself when power get back

2. I cant manage the device by console cable and when I try that I cant get the login page

3. Also there is red light (alarm) appear at the rear when plugged on the power,

i will also like to reset the device to factory default 

Please help will be highly appreciated.

Hi,

What is the exact model of the Smart-UPS 2200? You will find this information on the back of the UPS. There is a bar code sticker that has the information.

What cable are you attaching and what console are you using?

The Red LED is most likely a site wiring fault. We have Knowledge Base document FA158871 that discusses this subject.
