MICRO DATA CENTER S SERIES FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE VIA MODBUS WITH SVRPM6KRIL UPS AND ACRMD4KI-1 COOLING IDU
i am installing a Micro DC S series and having challenges establishing communication with the UPS and the indoor unit for the cooling unit. For the UPS i have configured the required address on the dip switches of the modbus network card and terminated the cabling, for the cooling unit terminated as per instruction manual. the dispaly can read the MDC's power meter and the Netbotz without any challenges, the UPS and the cooling unit however, are not being picked up.
a manual refered to a rs232 to RS485 converter required to configure the cooling unit and the UPS using a Modbus polling software and the UPS monitoring software respectively. is this the only way to go about this and are there any suggestions on a particular rs232 to rs485 converter and modbus polling software to use to establing communication with the devices.
