I have three 30kVA Galaxy UPS's running in our business. I recently changed the batteries on one of them after it was in storage for a prolonged period with the batteries still installed. Since then, it would would switch off if the Vin is absent for longer than 2 min.
I checked all the settings but could not find anything that could indicate what the problem might be. There are no alarms on the control panel.
Could it be that it defaulted during the long period out of use to some setting that is allows it to switch off?

Could you possibly provide the Network Management Card log files from the unit(s) showing this issue? Instructions are here on obtaining those -> http://www.apc.com/support/index?page=content&country=ITB〈=en&locale=en_US&id=FA156131 At a minimum, we'd need event.txt, data.txt, and config.ini but if you have a newer management card with newer firmware, the .tar file would be great.

Hi Angela,
I cant connect to the NMC. I used control panel to interrogate the board and used the IP address I got from it. I need to ensure I have the correct IP address for it. Please assist.

Here are instructions on how to set up/connect to the NMC directly -> http://www.apc.com/support/index?page=content&country=ITB〈=en&locale=en_US&id=FA156064
That way, you can verify the IP, subnet mask, and gateway and make sure the NMC is accessible directly.
