I'm trying to understand the percent load VS the watts display. Is there a calculation that I could better understand the display? Example: I'm seeing 29% load and showing 522W on the display? The power factor would have to be about 0.7 for this to be close to being correct? Is one a snapshot in time and the other cumulative? Thanks for any help understanding the display.

Hi Mark,
If you get the exact model number then go to the APC/SE website you can find that unit's efficiency graph on it's tech specs page.
Also note that UPSs are not efficient at low loads but that efficiency raises rapidly in the first 40-50%, this is why it's important to spec your UPS correctly.
