Hello,
I have a request from a client, to have their air-conditioning system on UPS. Incase of a power failure the air-conditioning system should continue to work. As far as i know, Chilled Water Air-conditioning System can be operated on UPS system. As it has no compressor on the Evaporator and in case of DX it is not possible. Also, in case of power failure the chilled water supply will be distupted but the fans will continue to circulate the air.
I would like to have further comments from you.

That is a good idea for A feed on UPS and B feed in Utility.
What do you mean by self contained dx system, could you kindly guide me to this technology.

This model has the condenser and evaporator all internal. It uses exhaust ducts to remove the heat from the data center. It only needs power and a drain line for the condensate pump.
However only the Chilled water units have A B power feeds. The DX units have a single input.
