I just noticed that the InfraStruXure Fuel Cell ISX-FCXR10-30 has been removed from the APC Site (under Standby Power). Can you tell me if fuel cells will be part of APC's future and if the ISX-FCXR10-30 product or another DC/AC Fuel Cell will be part of APC's InfraStruXure Architecture in the Data Center?

The fuel cell makes DC voltage, which ties to the battery bus of the UPS. The inverter section of the UPS then makes the A/C voltage. It takes a maximum of 20 seconds for the cell to provide full capacity so you have to have a UPS anyway to bridge that gap. If we glued an inverter to the front end, you'd need to purchase additional automatic transfer switching to switch between the utility and the fuel cell, which would drive up manufacturing costs, and your implementation costs.

Do you know if APC has installed this anywhere?

Now it seems that the ISX-FCXR10-30 Fuel Cell is back on the web page under Standby Power. This time it is posted by NOT with the "InfraStruXure Certified" icon. Wonder why it was taken off? Will APC have AC Fuel Cells also in the future?

Absolutely APC supplies certified fuel cell technology! It's based on a permeable membrane technology with hydrogen as the primary fuel source. Runtime is limited only by the fuel source and can be "unlimited runtime" if you have enough hydrogen cylinders and valving in place, as well as a process, to cycle fuel into the fuel source stream.
The only by-products of this technology are heat and water, so it's a very "green" implementation of stand-by power for those sites which place a high value on this. Of course, it's considered a stand by power source, and you will still need a UPS for bridging the very brief amount of time to full load carry.
If you have a requirement to implement this technology, APC is the best resource. Hands down, no question. If the website doesn't give you enough information, just contact your APC sales representative to arrange for more information and a presentation on the technical details of this product.

I see that the ISX-FCXR10-30 is a DC Fuel Cell.
Will APC be launching a AC based Fuel Cell for the InfrastruXure architechure? If yes, when?
From the little information presented in APC's website these Hydrogen Fuel Cell solutions look to be the best solution for; a. lower emissions, b. keeping cooler high density racks, c. remote sites, and d. keeping systems highly available in an N1 architecture. As the initial cost of these solutions come down in price (or subsidized by the new tax credits for fuel cells -30%) this solution will be adopted over microturbines and diesel generators.
