Hi!
I have an SUA1000RMI1U which is connected to a single box running Win7 Embedded. Currently we use Serial Port and we just evaluate its Event Log entries to react on power loss events.
I'm looking for a possibility to issue a shutdown command to the UPS. This could/should be done within a Powershell script or similar.
Is there some kind of API or CLI for that model? Which software do I need for this?
Thanks,
Daniel

If you have or purchase a network management card, there are a lot of options include SNMP and a command line interface. Otherwise, I would look into apcupsd.
