How do I ensure apcupsd does not kill power on Smart-UPS 1500 RM

Hello

I have a Debian Box that I have successfully configured to Monitor a APC Smart-UPS 1500 RM via PCNET using the PCNET UPS Driver. I want to make sure that it will not tell the APC Smart-UPS 1500 RM to cut its power as other Servers are attached to the same UPS. As I am new to using APCUPSD I thought I would ask on the forums as I want to be sure.

i personally dont know much about using APCUPSd but i dont know if you have come across the user manual for it. i figured i'd post it just incase for you if its helpful.
