How do I create a Windows 2003 Shutdown Sequence w/o Bus Deluxe

Hi

I am trying to set up my Smart UPS 1000 to shutdown a single 2003 server with SQL 2005 and MS Exchange Server. Can someone send me a sample command fle that shuts down these services and programs properly? Last time I had a power outage the UPS did nothing but time out and my RAID volumes had to rebuild (what is the point of a UPS?). I assume that the shutdown did nothing but timeout.

Do I need to buy the deluxe software or can I write a command file that handles the server shutdown?

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
