People on-site say SmartUPS 1000 alarm is sounding and red light flashing (replace battery?) but when I remote in and run Power Chute program it shows everything as OK except Green Mode exited. Do I need to drive 100 miles to check it out for myself?

Can you provide the other information you see from the event and data log? perhaps in a screenshot i.e. does it say status online, does battery voltage look normal, etc?
Also, are we 100% sure that we are checking the correct unit versus the unit the people on site are seeing? Once in a while, we have people call in about a beeping unit and blame the UPS and come to find out it is a server or different device. It made me wonder if possibly we are looking at the wrong unit in one place or the other.
