Gen set as prime power - engine overhaul TBO
The need for on-site generator of emergency and standby electricity is usually driven by mandatory installations to meet building codes requirements and / or risk of economic loss due to loss of electrical power.
Due to this particular project, we are working with, we decide to recommend a on site power system to carry 100 % of the A/C (air conditioned) load. Does anybody knows what is the TBO ( time between overhaul) of the engine component over a 200 KVA generator set working as in continuous operation. ?
