Hello,
We are attempting to monitor our SL80KG UPS with an AP9619 NIC. The card is on the network, but after logging in, it shows that the card has lost communication with the UPS. I am assuming that this is due to a need of a particular firmware for a 3-phase UPS. However, I am unable to find any firmware on the downloads page for our AP9619 card.
Can someone point me in the right direction on this issue?

Hi Ryan,
Sure, that is a Silcon UPS. Here is a link to the latest available firmware for AP9617/18/19 for use with a Silcon: ftp://restrict:Kop$74!@ftp.apcc.com/restricted/hardware/nmcard/firmware/dp3e/372/apc_hw02_aos373_dp3...
Once you download that, if you need instructions to apply it, check this knowledge base (http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA156047) for the different application methods. The easiest will just be to run the .exe file which uses FTP but you can refer to any of the "NMC1" methods as AP9619 is a Network Management Card 1.

Thanks Angela, that did the trick!
Only issue I am seeing now is that the UPS Overview page is showing that the Load in Watts is 0.0%. The UPS Status page shows that there are about 23 Amps on each phase. Do you know why that wouldn't be reflected on the load reading?
Here are the two screenshots:

Hi Ryan,
You're welcome. Yes, we have a document on this. Here is the explanation:
Network Management Card (AP9617/18/19) firmware, beginning with version 3.2.1, offers a web based "load in watts" bar graph that displays the UPS load. This value is based on the percentage of watts used by the load.
In order to obtain this value, the Network Management Card looks for the wattage percentage from the UPS, specifically based on the UPS link language command "P".
The Silcon UPS series does not support this specific command. Therefore, most customers will see a value of 0% via the web interface, even though the front display of the Silcon will actually report a value higher than 0%.
At this time, there is no solution to have the Network Management Card display an actual value. In order to determine the load, the customer must either determine the load based on the front display of the Silcon or based on the Output power reporting of the Network Management Card.
So, long story short, this UPS does not support querying this value but the NMC shows it anyway unfortunately.
