Hi.
We've just recently purchased 2 SMX 3000HV UPS. They had all the test results OK from january 2023.
Firmware 08.1 ID: 1003
Yesterday I unpacked one, it has nothing connected and charged at 100%.
The other was installed in a rack a few weeks ago, only at 8 or 9% load for now, but never goes above 99% charge. The display shows "Fault State. Battery soft start", Contact APC support".
I contacted the vendor, whom, in turn, said I should register both UPS and ask for support. I don't have network connection yet at that installation, so I can not use APC software to obtain additional information.
Any idea of what might be causing this?

Defective item. APC will replace this UPS.
