Exact cable(s) to connect Smart-UPS 1500C (SMC1500C) for Powerchute
I am responsible for a server powered through a Smart-UPS 1500C (SMC1500C) and I do not have any cables which work. That is, when I try and connect to a server and install Powerchute (9.5?), the installation does not sense the UPS.
What are my options please; item numbered if possible.
The back of this UPS has an RJ45 port marked for Serial connection and a USB-A port marked for USB. The server in question has both USB (2.0) and conventional Serial DB9 pinout.
