Email Notification Control
I need to have the UPS to send email notifications for critical events only, and I use the Web console of the network management module to configure it.
Problem is: everytime I enter a new email recipient, it is set for all and every types of alert, and it is impossible for me to deactivate email notifications when sorting by priority or category. There's no "disable" button and the Web console doesn't like when I leave the recipients' checkboxes empty.
The only workaround I found is to go through all informational and warning events and disable email notifications. But as there's a few hundreds of notifications available, going through all of these is not an option. Too much time consuming and error prone.
Is there an easy and quick way to enable email notifications for critical events only?

hi
what firmware version are you using on your network management card? do you have tabs at the top or on the left hand side?
to do this in 3.x firmware, you will want to go to the Administration Tab->Notifcation->Event Actions (by Group). Once in this screen, you can configure the events by severity and enable/disable them. You can choose the groups you want and then hit next and enable or disable them on that screen.
in the older 2.x firmware, log in and click on Events->Actions->Configure Event Action by Severity Level.
