Hi Everyone,
I've set all events under the information category to prohibit messages sent to email@email..com, however, when a UPS self-test has passed it keeps sending an email to the aforementioned email address.
How do I get it to stop?
Thank you,
D

Hello,
If you have disabled all Informational Events, and are still getting Self Test Passed, there is a way to get to the actions of that individual event.
If you go to "http://(IP of the NMC)/eventdtl.htm?code=0x0105"
The 0x0105 is the specific event code for Self Test Passed, and you can disable email through that URL.
Thanks.

Hello,
What model UPS are you using? It also sounds like you are using the Network Management Card to send emails. What version firmware do you have on the card?
Thanks.

Hello,
UPS Passed Self Test is considered a clearing event, which is not configurable from the main page. What you can do is enter the hex code for it and access the configuration settings that way.
To do this, enter the hex code in the URL. An example is below.
http://192.168.1.2/eventdtl.htm?code=*0x0106* (UPS: Failed a self-test)
Change the 0x0106 to 0x0105 (UPS: Passed a self-test) and you should see the configuration settings.
http://192.168.1.2/eventdtl.htm?code=*0x0105* (UPS: Passed a self-test)
Let me know if this helps.
