I work in IT at a company that uses gmail for e-mail.
We just recently installed a UPS network management card on an APC in the server room.
I've configured cacti to monitor this device, but would also like to receive e-mail notifications to IT@etc.com in case of emergency.
Does anyone have a simple solution to this?

Hi Tory,
Currently there are no APC Network Managements Cards (NMC) that allow for authentication when sending emails. The best work around for this is to have a local SMTP server that does not require authentication and have the NMC send the emails there and then get forwarded to the email addresses you need.
If you have a NMC2, AP9630 or AP9631, there is a plan to release firmware that will allow for local authentication. Unfortunately I do not have an ETA for the FW release yet.
