Is there any way of disabling a 2200 RM XL carrying out a self-test periodically. I have looked through the power chute software and cannot find an option to disable self-test's. The UPS is old and does not have the LCD control panel on the front, I know in the current UPS's the self-test option can be disabled.
Or if there is no way of turning it off, can the self-test be scheduled at a specific time/day/month?
Any help would be gratefully received.

yes, you can disable this. assuming you are using powerchute business edition agent, go to Smart UPS 2200 on the left hand side and click on Diagnostics and the option will be in there. the agent is accessible via the web browser at https://127.0.0.1:6547 if you are the local machine.
let me know if you don't see that option or if you are using the powerchute buisness edition console - which i believe also have a diagnostics option or section but i don't have it available right this second so maybe it does not.
