My trusty DLA 1500 started beeping to replace the battery after a 3 year life of keeping my server happy. I went to the battery store and had it replaced. When I hook it back up, the battery charge lights just flash. When it runs it's test, my server gets a pop-up says battery too low. I took it back to battery store. They said they had to push the breaker button on the back in and it works fine for them and is charged. I bring it back and hook it up and same thing. The little reset/ breaker button in the back doesnt stick out for me. I push it in anyway. No change in result. The load indicator is only on one of five lights. I dont get a beeping sound, just battery charge lights flashing. Any ideas of what I should do/try next?

I would let the unit try to charge for at least 24 hrs, without anything on it. Then try and plug everything back into it. It may also need calibration.

Thank you for your response.
OK, I shut down my server and unplugged it and the other stuff rom the UPS. The battery bar quit blinking and shows full charge (all 5 lights solid). I can see why the battery company said it was fine when they checked it assuming they either had nothing or something minimal plugged in.
I will keep the load at zero (nothing plugged in) for 24 hours but I don't think that is the problem at this point.
What / how is calibration performed?

Hello Michael,
If you have a flashing battery bar graph I suggest that you take a look on this knowledge base article http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1497/kw/flashing%20bbg
Also, did you use APC batteries on your UPS?
