Hi,
This UPS has been up and in service for several months. We have not performed any
actions to the unit or touched the batteries since it came online. Please advise.
The unit is currently still in service and providing power to live network devices.
See attachments for unit information.
Thanks, D.Wilson

You should contact APC Technical Support to track this problem since this unit is under warranty.
In the interim please upload the diagnostic logs from the system for review here. They will include the event, data, UPS fault logs.
Schedule a maintenance window for the following action items so the business is not impacted.
Power: Disconnect AC Mains from the wall outlet. The unit should immediately transfer to battery only mode. If not and system shuts down the battery cartridge is either defective, not connected properly, or loose connection in the battery wiring, blown fuse.
If the system continues to operate on battery only power. Confirm the LCD indicates a transfer error and displays a on battery only mode. Toggle to view the battery charge voltage and operational runtime.
Both obviously will begin to drop.
Reconnect AC Mains to the system and let the system transfer back to On-Line / Green Mode.
Has the battery disconnected fault cleared or remains?!?
If it clears ensure this is tracked with APC Technical Support. ☝️
If the active fault / error remains disconnect the battery cartridge power cable and wait for the system to declare a battery fault. Once declared reconnect the cable to the system.
If the system prompts you to confirm if this is a new battery cartridge toggle from No to Yes. Enter the month / year to the current month and hit save.
What happens?!? Does the active fault / error clear?!? If yes, log this problem with APC Technical Support.
If no, remove the battery cartridge and validate all wiring, crimps are sound and tight. Ensure you measure the fuse is not blown open with a meter.
