Hello everyone,,
Looking through the apc site I'm looking at a product called the Console Port Server. I tried reading the manual, but my main question is why would I use this versus a KVM switch?

Hello,
A console port server gives you remote access to ANY serial devices that has a built-in interface. KVMs gives you remote access to servers, pcs, etc - "GUI". Also, if your network goes down, it gives you the ability to dial into the console port server and access its connected devices.
