Connecting extarnal battries to APC SURT10000 XLI UPS(Urgent help required)

Hi,
I have an APC SURT10000 XLI UPS that have 2 external battery pack connector at its back, i want a backup of 2 to 3 hours to a load of 6000VA. how should i connect the battries to these terminals?

i mean to say..
1) can i connect 2, 150ah ,12V batteries to the external battery pack connector?
2) can any one tell me the technical details of the 4 battery packs having 32, 12v, 5ah batteries connected to the ups?? means how these packs are internally connected?? parallel or series?? how much current and how much time they require to charge?? etc. so that i manage to connect my desired batteries to the external battery pack connectors?

any help will be highly appritiated

We only recommend using APC battery packs. The two battery packs below will work with this unit. Using 3rd party batteries MAY work but unfortunately, they don't always work. Are these the units you are trying to wire to the UPS?

can you please guide me ... the output of the external battery connectors are adjustable or they automatically detect the number of batteries connected to it and adjust its voltage output to charge the batteries safely?
