Configure Shutdown Sequence default.cmd
Hello Folks!
I have wrote a default.cmd based on what comes out of the box.
We needed to set APC PBE to run as Administrator (script would not sutdown anything before that).
Script is tested and shutdowns LPARS and then IVM plus some other servers.
In my environment I must be able to take small poweroutages 0-10 minutes without knocking everything down.
When configure the shutdown sequence I am pussled on when the script will be kicked off and start shutdown everything.
In the Shutdown Sequence panlel there are basically two settings:
* Command File
* Operating System
And two timing settings:
* Delay
* Duration
My first question is, when is the script executed after the delay or duration or at runtime limit ?
How does it work if Delay is set to 10 minutes and by some reason runtime limit happens after 6 minutes instead, will the system execute the script immediate at runtime limit ?
