Cannot communicate with UPS after applying Network Management Card firmware
I just applied version 3.5.8 of the Network Management card to 2 SNMP cards. I am using APC7500VA Smart devices (with IBM names on it). I have used Telnet to reset the cards but without any success. I was doing this because I cannot get Network Shutdown to see any of the SNMP cards when installing in my Windows 2003 environment on IBM servers.

hi-
can you please confirm the model numbers on the cards? it sounds like you are getting an error while logging in via the web interface but the telnet interface is working correctly. based on that, when you log in via telnet, on the top right of the first page through the telnet interface (home screen), you should see a P, N and A with symbols next to them like + or -. Can you please let us know what you see there? Also, above it, you should see where it says the version names for BOTH the AOS and APP. it should also say the names of them there. Can you please provide all of the details you see there? a screenshot would work too if its possible - you can blank out any personal info in that screen.
Depending on what you see there, I may suggest trying to manually upgrade the card via FTP to see if that works.
