Best Practices for Distributing Power Load Across Redundant PDUs

Looking for some recommendations or best practices for calculating power load and how to properly distrubute across redundant pdu's. I'm a newbie so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I'm in the process of reading doc's on the APC website to bring my self up to speed. I was just looking for any formulas to calculate how much power a particular piece of hardware with dual power supplies would draw from a total of 400kV.

well, when sizing people up, we usually size people up by wattage because it is the most accurate figure we can go by versus volt-amps and amps. you'd want to make sure that you size up by watts if possible. are you plugging PDUs into a circuit that is protected by battery back up or a UPS? we'd need to make sure that we are within the limits of that as well. you need to make sure you have enough power to cover peak current draw as well so that you dont trip any breakers or anything like that.
