Dear all,
I am desperately searching for the correct battery constant value for the UPS mentioned above (please note that this is the 230V model - we're located in Germany).
Yesterday, I already have asked the US support for that constant (since the German support already was out for weekend), but they refused to give me that value. Instead, they recommended to do a manual calibration which I think is not an option.
Does anybody know the correct value? Are the values different for the US / 120V model (I think that would be SU1400R2BX120, i.e. without the "I") and the international model (I think the "I" stands for "international")?
Thanks for any help,
Peter

Nothing against you personally, but to your company:
Congratulations - you only needed 8 years to answer that simple question, and the answer actually isn't one. Now that's what I call service.
Well, you've changed your policy. Fair enough.
Fortunately, we also have changed our policy several years ago - to not buying APC any more.
Side note: Trying to keep those constants is just ridiculous. People will find them out anyway. The difference is that they would need a few minutes if you would tell them and that they need several hours and must check multiple independent references (to be sure) if you don't. We're convinced that you have managed to upset a lot of people with that policy, and this type of "service" has and will cost you a lot of customers.
I'm out ...

APC Support (as the US support already mentioned) is not able to give this out anymore due to issues with the process but you might be able to find it elsewhere if you still wish to pursue it and do it at your own risk.
So, for anyone reading this, feel free to discuss privately with the original poster but we cannot have it posted publicly here due to the change in policy.
