Backup UPS 1050 battery discharging overnight while not in use.
Can someone explain. My new UPS 1050 was charged up - 4 lights on after about 8 hours as recommended. I left it unplugged overnight and it was flat next morning.

Hi Tony,
Please upload the data, event, and UPS logs from the APC Power Chute software here.
Remove AC Mains from the wall. Than use a multimeter to measure the battery while disconnected and outside of the unit.
What is the battery voltage?
Connect the battery cartridge back into the system and reconnect the AC Mains.
What is the battery voltage when connected to the main system?!?
Since this is a new system I would encourage you to contact APC Technical Support. Have ready the serial number, purchase receipt, and description of the problem. If the problem is not solved in the APC Forum at least a warranty submission has been started.
