I want to extend the runtime of my SU2200 and was thinking of using a custom battery bank containing 4 x 12v 100Ah (series connected) would the increased amp hours cause a problem to the charging circuit or the unit itself ..?

i can double check tomorrow but i am thinking this particular model only has between a 100-250 watt battery charger at most. this isnt designed to be an extended run model so i dont think the charger is as beefy as it could be if it were an XL model.
on our SU2200XL model, we recommend no more than 10 of the SU48XLBP battery packs [seen here|http://apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=SU48XLBP]. you start running into longer charging times and especially so if you dont have the SU2200XL model, it will take even longer.
i hope this helps..
P.S. just as a note - if this unit is randomly under warranty, using third party batteries or anything along those lines will void your warranty and equipment protection policy claims if such a situation was presented.
