Alternative to PowerChute over private Network?

Hello,

please excuse my bad English. I would like to use PowerChute Serial Shutdown to manage my UPS. Unfortunately my BX750MI-GR UPS is far away from my Windows PC. This means I cannot connect the UPS to my PC via USB. Is there a free alternative to manage my UPS via the local network?

There are a few possible solutions to extend the USB cable connection. It really comes down to your budget and cost. You can use the following solutions such as an Active USB Cable, Powered USB Hub, USB to Ethernet Extension Adapter.

NOTE: A USB to Ethernet Extension Adapter is NOT the same as a USB Network Adapter.
