Hi
I installed new batteries on 2 UPS 5000. They both have an alert "UPS: The battery power is too low to support the load; if power fails, the UPS will be shut down immediately.". I did turn off and on 1 of them, but ne change.
First UPS
Model: SU5000R5TBx120, Firmware Revision: 112.14.M,
Network Management Card: AP9617, Hardware Rev. A10; sumx version: v3.7.2; aos version: v3.7.3
UPS status:
Battery Capacity: 100%
Battery Voltage: 55.65 VDC
Load: 40.5%
It fires 2 alerts every minute: "UPS: The battery power is too low to support the load; if power fails, the UPS will be shut down immediately."
What should I do?
Thanks you
Ben C
Second UPS
Model: SU5000RMT5U, Firmware rev. 112.14.M; AP9606
UPS status: Discharged
Battery capacity: 100%, Battery voltage: 54.55 VDC, Load power: 43.6% WATS; Runtime remaining: 0 minutes

The UPS probably needs to update its runtime.
You'll want to read through this article first (http://www.apc.com/support/index?page=content&country=ITB〈=en&locale=en_US&id=FA156538). You probably have the flashing battery bar graph mentioned in the title. I'd try issuing a runtime calibration command through the management card. If it does not work or rejects it, then we'd try the manual calibration mentioned. If that doesn't work, we will calibration keys available that will fix this issue through your serial port for you. If I can't get one of those sent to you, then we could maybe provide you with some special instructions if you have the APC 940-0024 or 940-1524 serial cable available with a computer.
