I'm new to Hyper-Terminal and hit the z key which cleared the EEPROM, is there any recovery procedure please? Thanks

It's just a reset to factory defaults -- user configurable settings are cleared -- not charging voltage. And the impression I get from other forum posts here is that charging voltage for UPSLink units is set in hardware rather than software.

Hi,
The z key resets the EEPROM variables to defaults. To reset you will need to reconfigure the system to how you would like it. Example: adjust upper and lower transfer voltages, when to run self-test etc. You will find information on using UPSLink to configure Smart-UPS can be found in Knowledge Base document FA276164

Hi, the machine is a SU 700 INET 220-240 Volt model if that makes a difference.
Thanks.

Hi,
The SU700iNET utilizes UPSLink and that is what is discussed in Kbase FA276164. Is the unit not functioning?

I'm cautious of running it not knowing if things like the charge voltages are wrong and may cause damage or fire.
