AVR Relay Weld Fault

My APC Smart 1000VA UPS trips off automatically and reports an AVR Relay Weld fault. I have unplugged the battery terminal, reset the UPS, reconnected and restarted, but problem still exist. Is there anything I could do other than replace the UPS?

Unfortunately it sounds like you have already done everything you could. You will need to replace the UPS.
