Hi I am trying to install a ATS power supply and all it does is buzz. I cant find much information for these and the manual seems to just suggest it starts up.
I have tried 3 different units and all buzz and I had read some where that it is normal to buzz when it starts up. I want to configure it before I connect it to the UPS device. Does it need to be connected to the UPS device by power before it can be configured?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Adam

We figured out that the problem was indeed the voltage. We had ordered 208 volt model and we need 110. 🙂

I don't remember any of mine buzzing when they were installed.
It would be helpful if you could post the exact model of your ATS. I believe there were 3 generations of these - the unmanaged ones with model numbers starting with "SU0" and two types of managed ones with model numbers starting with "AP7". The two managed types differ in whether or not they provide current monitoring on the front panel (2-digit display) and via the management card.

when i hear buzzing on an ATS model, it usually means that it is connected to the wrong voltage i.e. a 208v unit connected to 120v. we definitely need to know the specific model and what receptacle type you are connecting it to with the voltage. it might be helpful to verify the input voltage to the ATS with a voltmeter too.
