Hi,

Try putting a none critical load on the UPS. Then switch the UPS to battery to test to see if it will sustain the load. If it does sustain the load let the batteries charge and then perform a bran dead. See Schneider Electric FAQ FA156611. If the UPS still does not recognize the batteries after the brain dead and the batteries read 13 volt I recommend replacing the UPS.
