Everything is working on my two UPSs - I am getting notifications, I can ping them, I can even get in through Putty. I therefore know that the IP address is corrrect and that my user name and password are correct. When I try to log into either of the UPSs, I get an error in Chrome or Edge, I get an error that the page cannot be reached - ERR_Connection_Aborted.
What should I try in order to get this working again. The UPSs are still under warranty.

Hi,
If you can connect via ssh (or telnet), try enabling http with the command "web -h enable". If you can connect via http but not https (and running "web" alone shows https enabled), I'd recommend removing the SSL certificate; "delete ssl/defaultcert.p15", and then reboot the card ("reboot").
If this resolves the issue, you can disable plain http again ("web -h disable"), and I'd recommend ensuring your firmware is up-to-date to prevent this re-occurring - https://www.se.com/ww/en/download/document/APC_SUMX_708_EN

I have the same issue since several months now. I can ping, I can check status via SSH but I get ERR_Connection_Aborted. when I try to reach the web interface via web browser

This worked for me. I enabled http, was able to get in, but couldn't get in with https. Deleted the SSL certificate and then was able to get in with https. I went back and disabled http. (I had to reboot in between each change). The firmware on my UPSs is v7.0.4, so I will update the firmware during the next server maintenance window. Thank you for your support!

Glad to hear it, and thanks for the feedback. The fix for this is that instead of the certificate expiring at a preset date, it now expires 10 years from generation. So this may happen in 10 years time if the certificate isn't regenerated again between now and then.
@matrix007, tagging you too because I think the forum only notifies the original poster, and two birds with one stone is always worth it.

Interesting situation. It is surprising that the problem was related to the dates of the certificates. I've found it convenient to put to use uptime checker from hosttracker to detect issues of this nature and respond quickly to them.
